This is a well made bed - perfect for my two young boys. Assembly was really easy, my husband put it together within 2 hours - I was hesitant because some reviews said the guard rail on the top bunk isnt sturdy...but it is very sturdy - we didnt need to reinforce it at all. So glad I purchased this bunk bed!
We got this in June. It took a few hours to put together. The upper rail is not that secure. In fact, my 5 year old leaned on the rail, it came off, and he fell. Thankfully he only had a slight bump on his head. It could have been much worse. We will be adding additional screws/wood glue to make sure it doesnt happen again.
I would have given this product 5 stars if assembly was easier. The assembly was absolutely horrifying! My husband and I spent nearly four hours trying to put this together! Besides the assembly, this bunkbed is amazing. I love how the bottom bunk sits on the floor because my kids room is very small. They are also 3 and 5 years old, so I was not worried about my smallest falling out of bed.
Purchased for my kids ages 8 and 3. I had MAJOR delays in shipping, was actually lost for awhile in a warehouse midway. However, pulled through and got it shipped via another company. The bed itself is solid and well built but you will want a bunkie board or piece of plywood for the top. I like the ladder, my 3 year old managed it safely. I wish the top rail were a little taller and sturdier, as my older boy was afraid he was going to roll over it and off at first. However, I put a toddler bed rail on the bottom and you could add one on top as well if youre worried. The bed height is like a loft bed. The bottom bed is basically on the floor. My only dislike is that head clearance on the bottom bunk if very short, so there is a possibility for older children and adults to hit their head getting in and out of bed, or even sitting up too far.
This is a great bunk bed for a young child. Its cute and sturdy, and my daughter loves it. What the other reviews said is correct, though. The instructions arent very destailed and the pieces arent all labeled (although the instructions do actually tell you everything you need to know, you just have to really carefully compare the piece youre using to the picture). And the wood is very soft, so its easy to scratch with the screws (but after assembly, how many sharp metal objects are going to be in your childs bedroom). Im very happy with it!
This bed has exceeded my expectations on how sturdy it is. My daughter loves her bunk bed and no longer argues about going to bed and the top only being 50 tall it works eith my lower ceilings up stairs. Expensiv3 but worth it.

Sturdy Safe
Awesome bed! Great for our almost 4yr old on top and 2yr old on bottom. Sturdy! Not too high up. Safe ladder design. Nice looking finished wood.
