I purchased this bed last week and finally assembled it 2 days ago. I feel like the fabric on the upholstered headboard has a terrible smell that won't go away, It's disappointing because it would be a nightmare to send back since I already put it together. I was hoping the smell would go away but it's still there. The wooden slats are flimsy, lots of splinters and they are easy to crack, as are the plastic ends. If you need to take the slats out you can't without breaking the plastic inserts that go into the holes on the rail. The end caps were missing from the box. This product is terrible!!!!
